It is a condition of joining any of our trips/ retreats that you are adequately insured. If you are a Singaporean resident and have an annual medical aid/ hospital plan, please check with your insurer that you are covered for emergency evacuation costs. As an overseas traveller, you will need to take our travel insurance that will cover you for emergency evacuation, medical expenses and personal accident risks (to include helicopter rescue services and repatriation costs). Particularly if you are on our Adventure Treks you will need to make sure that you are covered for the mountains over 3000m. A great company to use this for is World Nomads - you must provide the insurance detail to be able to come on the trip.

We also strongly recommend that you take out delayed departure and cancellation insurance, as payments made are only refundable, according to our cancellation policy.

  • Your insurance documentation must state that you are the named policyholder

  • You must be covered for medical expenses and medical repatriation in the event of illness or injury (including deterioration of known medical conditions)

  • Your policy must cover you fully for all activities you are planning on taking part in on your trip/ retreat (such as trekking at altitude)

  • Your insurance documentation must indicate a 24-hour contact telephone number for your insurance company in case of an emergency.

Once you have confirmed your insurance, it is your responsibility to advise us of your policy details (policy number and emergency contact number) by sending an email to elizabethcc.wright@gmail.com

Please ensure that your insurer is aware of your itinerary and agrees to cover the activities being undertaken.
